It feels so strange to write these words for Mr. Ed Wess who was so full of life when I last saw him in July 2013 and last spoke to in February 2015. I had the good fortune to be Ed's next door neighbour for more than 3 years at NCB Jeddah. He was the most hard working person I have ever met and yet he was full of life and would crack jokes to lighten up the atmosphere. I had the pleasure to be at the receiving end of his comments / remarks a few times a day and I told my boss then that I considered working alongside Ed as one of the perks of the job. He was perhaps the most popular person in the bank. I had never heard him say an unkind word to or about any one. It was such a shock when I heard this news in Canada on April 26th. My thoughts are with Ed's family. May God shower His blessings on Ed's soul forever. This world is a poorer place without him. with prayers and best regards, Syed A. Moiz
