I was fortunate to be Ed’s colleague in Saudi Arabia and we became friends during our years together in Jeddah. His warmth and generosity of spirit made a mark on me and, to this day, I am often reminded about Ed would tackle a situation or lift the spirit of a struggling colleague. The years have passed since we lost Ed but his light continues to shine and I remember him fondly.
