Ed, you were a beloved and inspiring boss and colleague with a unique sense of humor that kept us going through the hard times. You taught me credit and how to always put integrity and the long term interest of the institution above personal and short term goals. You authorized my first credit signature in 1987 and I still have the copy of the approval in my files. Working with you in Mexico and ARR made me a better banker and person. You had a unique integrity and always did the right thing never taking the easy way out. In Greece we say that people do not die as long as they are remembered. You will be in my thoughts at work and in my heart as long as I live.
